It was later that the knowledge of the cure was separated into a different body of knowledge giving birth to the first pharmaceutical entity. Thus along with the medical profession the pharmaceutical industry has always been dedicated to the service of mankind. CHEMIDRUG INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED (CDPL) began its service in 1970 as pioneers in the pharmaceutical industry in Nepal.

Thirty-five years of dedicated service in the healthcare sector of Nepal has given GHEMIDRUG the added responsibility of ensuring that we as a company return the trust that the people have placed in us. To honor and maintain that trust at the highest level the company decided to go forward and merge with the SAAKHA GROUP in 2001. The merger was in the interest of inducting a wider base along with upgrading and improving the existing facilities. The SAAKHA GROUP is involved in wide range of business that include Steel, Copper, Brass, Aluminum,Industrial and decorative paints / Coatings Industrial adhesive and Ready-made garments with manufacturing units spread through out Nepal.

The aim of the company is to assure easy accessibility to the latest life saving drugs at affordable prices to the people of the country. To meet this aim the company has introduced a state of the art Who GMP factory building at Thankot, just outside the Kathmandu city.  This is our token of commitment to the health care sector of the nation.
